If($retVal = 0 & isset($this->xmlHandler)) $this->Result = new SimpleXMLElement($newXMLRet) If (!zRaidApi( $this->Command, $XMLRet )) How do obtain a working version of this product?ĥ) That's great why is the documentation and fix so late in coming? This motherboard has been on the market with this chip set for more than a year. The root cause is bad PHP code shipped in the MRU. Active Scripting is enabled in IE, and Javascript is on in Firefox, anyhow.Ĥ) That URL causes the same problem and writes the same log entry I indicate above. I don't see how javascript or active scripting could cause these symptoms.
Marvell 61xx raid controller driver windows 10 64 bit drivers#
The drivers came from the Asus setup CD.ģ) Again, this is pretty obviously a PHP problem. Worse, it plays an audible warning siren sound that I can't disable because the setup is broken.Ģ) I'm using the Marvell 88SE6320 SAS controller on the motherboard it's connected to a pair of Fujitsu MBA3300RC 15000 RPM, 300 Gigabyte SAS drives. The downloaded version is slightly newer but has the same problem.
Marvell 61xx raid controller driver windows 10 64 bit install#
This is the version that came on the motherboard's install CD. I haven't heard from them since.ġ) The Setup program says "Marvell MRU V4". I asked them how a PHP problem could possibly be indiciatvie of a motherboard failure, and they didn't answer. I wrote to Asus tech support and they said the motherboard is failing and wanted to initiate an RMA.
Where can I find documentation on the MarvellCLI tool so that I can attempt to diagnose the errors I'm seeing and test the health of my drives? Is there a release for the MarvellMRU tool that actually works, so that I can see the status of the drive array on the web page? The constent querying of the task bar application casues the log errors to be written repeatedly, which is slowly eating disk space. I'm assuming my data is safe in RAID1, but how can there be read errors? Wouldn't that mean that the read failed on both drives in the RAID1 array? Is that really possible? I'm troubled about the viability of this setup. I can't find a website for the company, and I can't find any useful documentation for this software or the RAID controller chipset. If I search the web for "MarvellMRU" to try to find some documentation, I get very few useful hits.
Marvell 61xx raid controller driver windows 10 64 bit serial number#
That the serial number is not available might be an OEM-ing integration issue, or it might indicate that the tool isn't working. Sat Oct 03 10:00:32 2009 0 Adapter 0 is detected, serial number not available Supported Raid Mode: RAID0 RAID1 RAID5 RAID10 Then I want to setup the two 2TB data drives in mirror but this time using the Windows mirror so the drives remain readable in any computers if something happens.Features: rebuild, background init, synchronizeĪdvanced Features: event sense code, flash bios
Now my plan is to install a SSD drive as main for OS & Apps, it is an Intel sata 6G drive.

Had to run a looooooong full check disk but still some data was lost, strangely the last data I created was lost.īoth HDD are passing the WD diagnostic tests so I understand I have an issue with the Marvell controller like you.
Then from windows I was able to read the 2TB drives but with problems. I understood that when a HDD is configured by a Hardware Raid, it can only be read by the same Raid controller, am I right?Īnyway, I needed that data so I added a temporary HDD in the system and installed Windows on it. Wanted to get my data so tried to connect one of the HDD to another computer: cannot read. I had two WD 2TB Black Sata 6G connected to the two Marvell ports and configured in Raid (mirror).Įverything went well until last week: rebooted and it was always going in Start-up repair mode. However, my real opinion of what 'I would do' was clear from my first post. FULL Format HDD use a utility if you need to wipe the HDD Never have a DVD installed in SATA2 first 4 ports or with AHCIĤ. In 'my' case I have them all as SSD if using an H50/70 'pump' to the CPU_FAN header-> CPU FAN 100%.
